		<description>Just to be clear...I have nothing against pride in one&#039;s heritage, Dutch or otherwise, and I think a little history about where you live is a good thing. &quot;A sense of place&quot; is an excellent thing. But assuming outsiders will/should feel connected to your history without giving them connections to see why they should...can be kind of like assuming everyone wants to see your vacation slides. Maybe they&#039;re cool, but they&#039;re not necessarily something we all have in common.</description>

		<description>Cute pictures but love that last paragragh.  Growing up in little ionia was similar -- you&#039;d think the whole world was like that.  That&#039;s why i live in GR and Carol in Detroit -- we so prefer a world with color and diversity and opportunity.</description>
