This musta been taken “up north”…
I have a friend at the Y from Ethiopia who has been quite facinated by your story of adoption and Anna (He pronounces Yegetanesh with the accent on the last syllable). He saw the pictures from Christmas and the wedding today… and pronounced Anna “beautiful and tall for her age”. I almost said she ‘takes after her daddy’… and then thought (before speaking!! Wow!!) “Hmmm, genetics??” Anyway, Solomon would so love to meet you all but I have no way to arrange it. He has known about Anna and you since I have. He is a wonderfully sweet and loving man and seems to be very pleased that one of “his children” have a good home.
I’m Wendy Wetzel, a freelance editor, writer, work-at-home mom, and so much more. I’ve just moved with my husband Aaron and our daughter the Joygirl from Oregon to Michigan so Aaron can attend seminary. This is the story of the rest of our lives and my reflections on freelancing, parenting, adoption, faith, and the beauty and humor of everyday life.

Our streets don’t look anything like that.
